For three decades, Steve Maddock has been establishing himself as one of Western Canada’s most versatile vocal talents. He’s been a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, been featured on CBC radio, and is a longtime member of the Juno-nominated vocal ensemble, musica intima. Steve thrives in a variety of musical settings, whether it be singing while playing piano in a hotel lounge, performing with a jazz trio in a cafe, or fronting a 20-piece big band on a concert stage. He is currently promoting two new albums: The Blues Project (Cellar Live) and Jack of All Trades (Salt Spring Records). Steve studied musical theatre in university, and remains active as a stage performer. Recent credits include Company, Guys & Dolls, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and Jesus Christ Superstar. He teaches jazz voice at Capilano University and is in demand as an adjudicator and clinician.
